Amherst Park Anamorphic Installation. "We continued our artistic exploration by planting a forest of tubes in Amherst Park—a treeless public square located on a very busy pedestrian street in the heart of Montréal. We set up a forest of long red tubes ranging from 7-to 21-feet, some with bright white letters. By placing the tubes at specific points, we created an optical illusion giving the viewer the impression that all the letters were the same size. Together the letters form words and the words a sentence, itself part of a manifesto, the idea being that it's only when everything is seen as a whole that one can make sense of anything at all." Typeface: Akzidenz Grotesk.
