"Inspired by the typographic elements in Hebrew Socialist posters from the 1940s, the Socialism typeface was created as part of a branding process for a law office specializing in labor laws, social security and workers' rights. At the same time the font was created, a series of social protests took place in Israel, bringing up issues such as solidarity and social justice. Into these processes the font blended in, reminding Israelis of the familiar iconography associated with the social and collective context. With its transformation into a tool for designers, the typeface allows for an integration of historical values and significance and contemporary design."
