SFX: Phone rings.
(Open on a woman sitting in her living room. She answers the phone)
Woman: Hello?
(Cut to a man in an apartment on the phone)
Man: Hi. Melissa. It's Josh from last night.
(Cut back to the woman in the living room)
Womanb: Oh, yeah! Hey!
(Cut back to the friend. She is talking but there is silence. Cut back to the man)
MAN: Hey! OK listen, I know there's that two-day rule about calling or whatever and um… this might sound totally dumb, but uh… did you feel there was a real connection between us?
(Cut back to woman. She is speaking but there is silence. Cut back to the man)
Man: I mean, ya know…like a brother and sister connection.
Super: Switch to the network with the fewest dropped calls.
Man: Nothing creepy. I mean, like you know, I would never like make-out with my sister…
Super: Logo – cingular. raising the bar.

Woman: Oh totally! Totally. Oh, you know, you were in my dream last night.
(Cut back to the man)
Man: Really?

Woman: Yeah, you were wearing this sheep costume and I was chasing you down with this candy cane and you just kept running.
(Cut back to the man. He is talking but there is silence. Cut back to the woman)
Woman: (clears throat)… It was just a dream.
Super: Switch to the network with the fewest dropped calls.
Woman: I don't think the candy cane meant anything.

(Open on a woman in a kitchen)
Mom: Hello?
Daughter: Hey Mom, guess where I am?
Mom: Where?
Daughter: In Vegas. With Mike.
Mom: (mumbles) Mike?
Daughter: Just drove here on a whim.
Mom: City of lights. (laughing) Promise me you won't come back married OK?
(The daughter laughs and shakes her head. Of course they're not getting married. But the call cuts out and the mom can't hear her.)
Mom: (serious) Jen. Jen? You're not getting married, are you?
(Again, complete silence.)
