Andy Anderson

Lone River Productions

Andy Anderson began his photography career as the first staff photographer for Men’s Journal and currently shoots for some of the biggest and best advertising agencies in the world. His work has been recognized by The Addys, Communication Arts, Graphis, and the New York Art Directors Club, and he was nominated for Life magazine’s “Eisie Award” for excellence in photojournalism. Anderson currently lives in Mountain Home, Idaho, with his wife and children. When not traveling on assignment, he can often be found in his Airstream trailer with his bird dog on a hunting or fly-fishing trip.

Tim Bruce

founding partner and creative director

Tim Bruce is a founding partner and creative director of LOWERCASE INC., a Chicago-based design firm that creates innovative design programs for a diverse set of industry leaders such as Lettuce Entertain You, Charlie Trotter’s, Warner Bros. Records, Chicago Volunteer Legal Services and the World Economic Forum. Bruce’s work has been honored by every major national and international design competition and is included in the permanent collections of several museums in Europe and the United States. He is a passionate supporter and collector of contemporary American folk and outsider art.

Amy Feitelberg

Amy Feitelberg is the photo editor at Los Angeles magazine. Previously, she was the photo editor at Outside and has been in the magazine publishing business for seventeen years having worked at New York magazine, Premiere, Rolling Stone, House & Garden and Entertainment Weekly. She has degrees in both journalism and photography from New York University, including a master’s degree in studio art photography. Her work has been recognized in American Photography, Communication Arts and PDN.

Jay Giesen

co-executive creative director

Jay Giesen is co-executive creative director of Brunner in Pittsburgh. His 21 years of creative experience are as diverse as his love for sports and the outdoors—from hunting deer to dunking a B-ball. His ideas and leadership have helped to successfully market brands ranging from AAA to Zippo, and his work has been honored with Addys, Clios, Kellys and Obies, and by Archive, Communication Arts, the New York Art Directors Club and The One Show, among others. Giesen loves to cook and views the cheeseburger as the ultimate culinary challenge and, at six foot seven, he is always chosen first in pick-up basketball games.

Emily Lessard

design director at-large
Aperture Foundation

Emily Lessard serves as design director at-large for the Aperture Foundation. While in this position, she led the Aperture rebrand, website redesign and several award-winning book projects. Previously, she worked at Ogilvy & Mather in the Brand Integration Group. Prior to Ogilvy, she worked at Heavy Meta, a New York design firm. Lessard has won design awards from Adobe, the AIGA, The American Association of Museums, The Art Directors Club and The Society of Publication Designers. She received a MFA in graphic design from Yale University School of Art and a BA in photography from the University of California at Santa Cruz.
