As a new sport in town, the Memphis Roller Derby approached Archer/Malmo about raising awareness of its organization, teams and bouts, and about roller derby in general. The creative solution is a perfect presentation of the dynamics of roller derby and how it combines beauty and sexiness with athleticism and grit. This pinup-style calendar features airbrushed players in classic Bettie Page-style poses but with fresh cuts and bruises from the rough play. Beauty and brawn, two things every derby fan wants to see.
