Appalachian Stove Co. "Hot and Crusty" campaign

Blattner Brunner, Atlanta’s first work for a new client with customers who want stoves that burn wood and keep their houses warm. When they discover, however, that Appalachian Stove makes clean burning (green-designed) stoves it can only be considered a plus. The most difficult part of executing the campaign was finding a reliably snowy location that looked like it could be the Appalachians. Ultimately the shots were taken in Idaho’s Sawtooth Mountains with the perfect model: Pat Russell, 35-year resident of Stanley, Idaho (with a winter population of 60). Three regional newspaper spreads and three posters broke this past winter.
