howies Autumn 2006 catalog
Collateral, Consumer
Four times a year, howies creates a catalog. It exists not only to sell the clothing but to express the company’s thought process (at least 40 percent of the catalog is put aside to make people think about things). This time around, they gave space to images and ideas that resulted from a seven-day trip of Wales (a trip that included 24 people, 6 bikes, 5 skateboards, 4 surfboards and 2 kayaks) in a van with 280,000 miles on it. The Autumn 2006 catalog is a memorial to the trip—with a few products thrown in.
