Chicago-based Brigid’s Bags is a rapidly growing designer, manufacturer and online retailer of refurbished designer handbags. The idea was born when Brigid Murphy transformed her father-in-law’s 1950’s Sears Roebuck bowling bag into her own designer purse by lining it with lush upholstery fabric. She received so many compliments and queries that she decided to create more—and eventually added doctor’s and other vintage bags into the mix. Recently launched, via Euro RSCG Chicago, this outdoor poster/print ad campaign conveys the art behind these recycled, refurbished bags. With the tagline, “Old Bag. New Tricks” combined with images of the bags, each ad is as unique as one of the bags.
