California Center for Sustainable Energy "Forward" PSA

California-based Lyon & Associates Creative Services and Subliminal Pictures created this pro bono PSA to advocate the use of solar power to reverse the environmental damage caused by dirty coal-fired power plants where a lot of California's power is generated. Since the plants are not allowed in clean-air-conscious California, the inhabitants of rural parts of Arizona and New Mexico are breathing the heavy metals that pour from those stacks. To make its point, the ad employs imagery of smoke blowing backward into the stacks. The sobering spot was shot in Page, Arizona; Farmington, New Mexico; and Escondido, California
