California Square Wine packaging

You’ve probably never seen a square bottle of Chardonnay before, nor considered why you might want one. But square bottles take up less space than round ones, and if the wine industry made the switch, it would really cut some corners—the reduced size of the outer cardboard boxes alone would save almost a million trees, not to mention big savings on shipping and storage. Sometimes the most innovative ideas are also the simplest, and California Square, designed by packaging experts Stranger and Stranger, is poised to be the icon of a whole new approach to wine.
