Coca-Cola "Finals" spot

TV/Radio Commercials, Consumer

Edited by Cut + Run for Wieden + Kennedy New York and Epoch Films director Daniel Kleinman, this commercial opens with a young man fast asleep at a desk—obviously exhausted after long hours of studying for a history exam. Historical characters suddenly begin emerging from the pages of the books lying around him and attempt to wake him up using various forms of miniature weaponry. Finally Leonardo da Vinci and Benjamin Franklin arrive in a flying machine sporting a length of rope and a grappling hook; with the help of the armies below, they manage to pop open a bottle of Coke. The noise wakes the slumbering student, he takes a sip from the bottle and heads for the door with only minutes to spare before his exam.
