Byte Level Research provides Web globalization consulting and education for marketers and Web executives. This map, concepted and created by in-house designer John Yunker, helps people get a feel for just how worldwide the WWW truly is. It includes 245 top-level domain country codes, encompassing all United Nations countries and numerous islands and territories. Each two-letter code is aligned over the country it represents, color-coded with a legend for easy reference and sized relative to the population of the country or territory--with the exception of China and India, which were restrained by 30 percent to fit the layout.
