The Dangers of Sexting PSA
TV/Radio Commercials, Public Service
In support of March Awareness week, Children of the Street Society launched a PSA to raise awareness against sexual exploitation. Inspired by the tragic Amanda Todd teen suicide, and working in tandem with her family, Cossette developed a creative campaign to address the casual attitude among the youth toward explicit photo sharing (sexting). The end goal was to open a dialogue between parents and their children about the power and dangers of technology, and that in today’s connected world, there really is no such thing as ‘just one photo.’ The PSA received strong media pick-up, and was featured in publications such as Mashable, Business Insider, Huffington Post and Jezebel.
