"Essence" T-shirt

Los Angeles, California graphic designer Courtney Küntz created this T-shirt for “BlueGreen: Blue Skies Green Earth” an environmental awareness graphic design exhibition featuring the work of 25 artists at the Venice Contemporary gallery in Venice, California. When studying human anatomy Küntz saw an undeniably striking resemblance between the appearance and structure of arteries and veins and the roots and branches of trees. The T-shirt concept is based on the belief that an intrinsic relationship exists between man and nature and that carefully balanced giving and receiving is what will ultimately protect the delicate environment.
