Europe 2020 Slovenia mural

Painted in the parking garage of the IEDC Bled School of Management (in Bled, Slovenia) as part of Europe 2020's “Bled to Europe, Europe to Bled” event, the Slovenia mural is now part of the school’s permanent art collection. Written horizontally, it reads, “If speech develops in time and writing in space then new times require new writers.” The text forms an abstract pattern symbolizing the melange of languages, cultures, traditions and religions of the European nations; in connection with new urban structures, it takes on significant meaning as a representation of an original, collective and futuristic European flag.
