New York City Ballet Art Series: Faile

DDB New York launched a campaign in support of New York City Ballet Art Series, a co-created program developed by DDB New York and the New York City Ballet (NYCB) to introduce ballet to a younger audience that has not yet experienced the ballet. The New York City Ballet Art Series will feature annual collaborations with popular artists who will create original works inspired by NYCB for exhibit at the Lincoln Center.

In its first year, DDB worked with NYCB to partner with celebrated artist FAILE, the Brooklyn-based team of Patrick McNeil and Patrick Miller. To create awareness of the series, DDB New York launched a creative campaign (print, digital banners, billboards, subway posters, urban panels above the subway, night video projections and postcard inserts) featuring FAILE artwork, skewed towards the younger New Yorker and prominently placed in neighborhoods where ads for Lincoln Center institutions are not often seen, such as Williamsburg, the Lower East Side and East Village.
