Calgary International Film Festival print campaign

For years, people have turned to film as a means of entertainment. And although this is true even for the most typical movie, the reality is that films played during a film festival are far from clichéd genres and styles. They’re unconventional. They’re obscure. They’re explicit. With this in mind, the team at local ad agency WAX developed a campaign that prepares the public to “unexpect the expected”; it provided a great way to stand out from the big Hollywood box office films.
