Fingerprint N°2 book

Publications, Self-Promotion

San Francisco-based Chen Design Associates recently released the follow-up to their popular book, Fingerprint. Showcasing more than one hundred projects with a common thread—the integration of handmade elements with computer work—Fingerprint N°2: The Evolution of Handmade Elements in Graphic Design is beautiful, honest and bound to contain a few imperfections. Including work from San Francisco, Kansas City, Singapore, Mexico City, Toronto, Bristol, Osaka, New York, Lithuania, Austin, Helsinki, the book is comprised of ultra-thick chipboard, with a screenprinted and debossed cover and foil-stamped library cloth on the spine. Continued is a feature started in the first book, visual essays by Shanan Galligan, Robynne Raye, Christian Helms and Stefan Bucher and insightful commentary by design critic Colin Berry.
