John Boone’s new creative consultancy’s identity juxtaposes extreme opposites.

Guns & Kittens is a new creative consultancy launched by John Boone, former co-founder and creative director of BooneOakley. The name Guns & Kittens juxtaposes extreme opposites to create a dangerously cute conversation-starter. Branding elements include gun-handle coffee mugs, bullet-shaped thumb drives and business cards with a pistol-grip texture created by letterpress. So far it has been a huge success. “The biggest challenge now,” says Boone, “is getting the bullet-shaped thumb drives through airport security.”
