Holocaust Awareness Week newspaper ad

Print Ads, Public Service

Created for the University of Boulder’s campus Jewish organization, by TDA Advertising & Design, this ad built attendance at Hillel Colorado’s Holocaust Awareness Week, February 25–28. The intentionally understated ad appears, at first glance, to show nothing more than a book’s tattered spine. A closer look reveals that the book is The Diary of Anne Frank; a closer look, still, that the librarian has classified the Nazi-era autobiographical classic as “fiction.” The ads ran as wildpostings and in student newspapers.
