Family Promise Cardboard City: A Homeless Experience

Out-of-Home Ads, Public Service

This urban campaign done in all type, from box construction to screen printed messages was launched in November by Brunet Garcia (Jacksonville Florida) for a local philanthropic organization that helps homeless families find stability and, eventually, homes. The seven-foot-tall piece titled “HOME” consisted of cardboard box construction and wood underframe that could be disassembled for ease of mobility. Facts screen printed in the form of box labels and utilitarian icons delivered relevant messages and statistics about homelessness and how Family Promise is responding. The awareness campaign is on a record setting pace to raise more money than ever for the Jacksonville Chapter of the organization.
