Hood Slide spot

The Vancouver Police Foundation was struggling. The foundation’s donor list consisted of a few dozen generous benefactors, but for long-term viability, the foundation needed to introduce itself to the rest of the city and raise awareness in the community.

That’s where DDB Canada came in. The Vancouver-based agency created the Vancouver Police Department sunglasses. These iconic cop shades not only serve as a visual symbol of support that Vancouverites can wear proudly, but also act as a creative theme that drives the entire campaign. “Hood Slide” is a video spot created to show people that the campaign is a chance to get involved in a fun social phenomenon.
