Jack Daniel's "Independence Day" poster campaign

To celebrate Independence Day, Jack Daniel’s and Arnold Worldwide|Boston collaborated on this patriotic campaign. The partnership—with independent artists in Berkeley, California, Austin, Texas and Brooklyn, New York—resulted in five, hand-made posters centered on independence. The posters were fashioned in a variety of traditional methods, including being hand-painted on the side of a truck door, sewn and embroidered into a flag and carved from the charred wood of a Jack Daniel’s whiskey barrel and screen-printed. The processes were documented in a series of videos (“Jack Daniel’s meets The Sign Painter,” “Jack Daniel’s meets Helms Workshop”  and “Jack Daniel’s meets Jon Contino”) that will be shown in bars across the US along with the original artwork.
