Kallø Rice Cakes packaging

Rice cakes suffer from an image problem: they have come to represent everything bland and unappealing about health food. But the tasteless rice cake of old has come a long way, and Kallø wanted to make it clear that its products are both delicious and good for you. London branding studio Big Fish created a warm, nostalgic feel that that evokes good taste, health and happiness and avoided communicating anything about “dietary needs.” The ø in the brand name evokes Kallø’s Nordic philosophy of good aesthetics, clean living, and healthy approach to life.
