Kansas City was recently ranked 20th out of the top 20 U.S. cities for bike commuting; KCBike.info is the most comprehensive bicycling site in the state. Since there has been little outcry for civic bike improvements, the city’s pledged efforts to add bikes lanes and racks have stalled. The goal of this campaign, by Woodruff Sweitzer (Columbia, Missouri), is to increase bike commuting in Kansas City and compel city officials to complete the improvements. The posters were letterpress-printed and placed in offices and storefronts all over the city.
