Kerrisdale Lumber displays
Out-of-Home Ads, Consumer
Maple tree leaves are an iconic symbol of fall. They’re also a reminder to homeowners that there’s yard work to be done. By using real leaves as point-of-purchase advertisements, Vancouver home-improvement store Kerrisdale Lumber could present its customers with the problem—leaves in their garden—and the solution—garden maintenance tools on sale. Hundreds of nearly perfect maple leaves ordered from a local craft store were hand-stamped with custom-made rubber stamps. A special quick-drying ink was used to prevent smudging the artwork.
