The spiced rum market is dominated by a number of old brands; The Kraken Rum was developed to add a bit more spice and attitude to an established lineup. The objective for London-based Stranger & Stranger Ltd. was to maximize the shelf standout. A bespoke bottle shape with shoulder hoops and a label with an old print pastiche of a giant squid garnered the attention the rum deserves.
