Las Vegas is well-known as the fun capital of the world. Despite that fact, it’s also home to the greatest number (nearly twice as many as Orlando and Chicago and three times as many as New York) of the country’s 200 large trade shows. Nevertheless, its leisure reputation was beginning to overshadow its business reputation. People needed to be reminded that serious business also gets done there. To address the issue, Las Vegas, Nevada ad agency, R&R Partners, created the “I Never” print campaign that embraces the duality and the misperception that arises from it. It playfully speaks to the fact that the reality of doing business in Vegas lives side-by-side with its fun side. Plenty of people travel to it to get serious business done and never see the bachelor party crowd. After the business day is done, they can either play or go back to their hotel and work—the choice is theirs.
