Collateral, Consumer
The Royal Mail commissioned London-based Studio David Hillman to design three sets of stamps to be issued in the run up to London 2012 Olympic Games. The designs bring together some of Britain’s most exciting fine artists and illustrators, specially commissioned to highlight the sporting and cultural significance of this incredible event. A total of 30 first class stamps will be issued in the Olympic and Paralympic Games series, with the first 10 going on sale on October 22 2009 and two further sets of 10 in 2010 and 2011. The 30 stamps mark the thirtieth Olympiad and the London 2012 Paralympic Games, and will champion an Olympic or Paralympic sport and either the London 2012 Olympic Games or Paralympic Games logo. The stamps are available at post offices or online at Royal Mail.
