Michael Higson Fine Woodworking business card

Collateral, Consumer

Taking on projects for friends and family can strain relationships. This project proved to be different for design studio IAAH / iamalwayshungry and designer Erik Kiesewetter—the outcome and process were both simple and rewarding. The task? A business card for a fine woodworker. Instead of creating something typical, fitting into the norm, the designers abstracted some basic shapes to resemble a house on one side and stairs on another. With a couple of cuts and folds, the flat card transforms into a three-dimensional house that reinforces the business the card focuses on.

Nessim Higson, art director; Erik Kiesewetter, lead designer.
