Montana Meth Project "Ben" TV spot
TV/Radio Commercials, Public Service
The first campaign for San Francisco-based Venables Bell and Partners client, Montana Meth Project, focused on the impact meth has on the user. This latest installment (from a series of four) of the "Meth Not Even Once" campaign, widens the sphere of responsibility for preventing meth use and shows the collateral damage that occurs to users’ families and friends. This new concept, based on input from Montana teens, brings kids into the fight against meth by encouraging them to speak up when their friends threaten to begin experimenting with the extraordinarily addictive drug. Directed by Wally Pfister of Independent Media Inc. and edited by Paul Martinez of Arcade Edit, the campaign doesn’t preach or demand that kids take action, but rather it tells the heartbreaking stories of teens who watched their friends become consumed by the spiral of addiction, after having said nothing when their friend told them they were going to try the drug for the first time.
