Music Maker Relief Fund posters

Posters, Public Service

The Music Maker Relief Foundation helps the pioneers and forgotten heroes of Southern music gain recognition and meet day-to-day needs. Albuquerque, New Mexico-based McKee Wallwork Cleveland created this initial poster campaign to promote Music Maker’s musician sustenance program; the agency is in the midst of creating a complete brand campaign for the foundation.

headlines (from top):
He sings for his supper. Too bad he needs breakfast and lunch.

Heartache, pain and hunger. The first two started the blues. The third may end it.

A few dollars a month will keep his music alive. By keeping him alive.

He inspired the contributions of Eric Clapton, Bonnie Raitt and B.B. King. Should that inspire yours?

record title/copy (for all):
The Forgotten Heroes of Southern Music. Please help those who, after a lifetime of enriching others through music, live in poverty. Because those who have made the greatest contribution to American music could use yours. musicmaker.org/musician_sustenance
