When Campbell Mithun (Minneapolis, MN) pitched and won National City Bank, Cleveland last summer, they knew banking was a category with many pain points. Yet National City has some real zealots and is doing things most banks aren’t. “Caring about doing what’s right for customers” is their mission statement. These spots show customers reacting to a bank that is actually doing something in the customer’s best interest; the dissonance and tension made for some great interactions.
