Words hurt. They can also heal. Albuquerque, New Mexico-based 3 Advertising created the "Healing Words" art project for the New Day youth shelter to create an inspiring environment for the at-risk kids staying at the facility. To show the impact of language, donors funded the on-site art project consisting of motivating and positive word murals to replace the negative words that at-risk kids hear everyday. The posters, promoting the program and soliciting donations, show the impact of negative words with compositions of bullets, razor blades and cut glass.
