Orange "Lonely Friends" TV commercial

TV/Radio Commercials, Consumer

Orange is a brand of the France Telecom Group—providing mobile, broadband, fixed, business and entertainment services across Europe—and one of the world’s leading telecommunications operators with more than 170 million customers on five continents. In a run-up to the company’s fifth anniversary, Fallon London created a campaign to promote a 2-for-1 cinema tickets offer available every Wednesday to all Orange mobile and broadband customers. Directed by Hungry Man, this spot tells the heart-warming story of The Wicked Witch of the West from the timeless classic The Wizard of Oz, who now lives a less wicked life in rural England, enjoying a trip to the cinema with her friend, Vicki. The quirky friendship between The Witch and Vicki remind people that films really are better when you see them with a friend.
