The Coca-Cola Company: Vault of the Secret Formula exhibit
Digital Displays, Consumer
It hadn’t been touched in 86 years, but the Coca-Cola Company recently moved the 125-year-old secret formula for Coca-Cola to a new home at the World of Coca-Cola in Atlanta. As the capstone to the 125th-anniversary-year of the soft drink, the company is sharing the rich history and timeless appeal of its secret formula. For the first time, the vault containing the secret formula will be visible to the public in a permanent exhibit.
Portland-based Second Story Interactive, along with partners Donna Lawrence Productions and Gallagher & Associates, crafted a compelling narrative that challenges visitors' ideas about the fiction and facts behind the secret formula. From the secrecy, mystery and fun surrounding the product come twelve media experiences that deliver the visitor toward a cinematic climax. After stepping through a huge vault door, visitors learn about the most closely guarded trade secret in history through an immersive multimedia experience that celebrates the rich history, mythology and intrigue surrounding its formula.
