smart fortwo "A big idea for two" spot

TV/Radio Commercials, Consumer

BBDO Berlin’s smart fortwo “A Big Idea” campaign for Daimler AG, leverages the first co-production between Shilo and Film Deluxe GmbH. The five spot campaign (shown: "A big idea for two") focuses on the new smart fortwo that recently arrived at smart dealerships worldwide. With clever stories and scripts, the spots pay tribute to the brand with a focus on simplicity; each spot presents a universal quandary and uses clever copy to position the smart fortwo as the ideal solution. To interest a wide range of viewers within the narratives, a simple style features engaging animated characters coming to life on live-action city walls—at the end of each one, the location-based stop-motion background cinematography settles on a smart fortwo.
