SummerWorks 2009 festival materials

SummerWorks is Canada’s largest juried theater festival and takes place in downtown Toronto at several venues in the same neighborhood. The theme for 2009 was to lionize Toronto’s urban wildlife and treat them as mascots for all of the year’s festival materials. The bold neon look of last year’s brand remained consistent but was given a new twist. Festival attendance was up 34 percent; music series attendance was up 49 percent and festival T-shirts and buttons were sold out.
