Todd The Vinyl Junkie print ads

Print Ads, Business

Audio ads tend to be a vast sea of sameness: beauty shots of the product; beautiful women wearing cables as jewelry; price and item, price and item. The approach just wouldn’t do for this online retailer. Instead, Connecticut-based Keiler & Company created a series of ads that speak to the visual and verbal language of vinylheads. The art direction is based on classic album labels; the “custom labels” were printed, glued onto records and digitally shot. They’ve been receiving some high praise. Apparently people have been ripping the ads out of the magazine (The Absolute Sound) and tacking them on their walls.
