Woodland Park Zoo commercials
TV/Radio Commercials, Entertainment
Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle, Washington, wanted to present a fresh, unique identity through television commercials, reminding viewers that the zoo is constantly changing and there are always new things to see. Designers at Wong, Doody, Crandall, Wiener worked with Toronto firm Crush, Inc. to create animated spots that drew from classic illustration techniques but had a contemporary look. The simple environments of the animals complement the creatures themselves and flow from one scene into the next. “We wanted a very tactile, traditional feel,” says Gary Thomas, Creative Director at Crush. “We are incredibly pleased with the final result.”
