Duration: Shooting full-time for three-and-a-half years. Staff: Just me and kick-ass freelance assistants, producers and stylists. Education: A BA from the Art Institute of Atlanta then a few years of assisting some amazing photographers. Cultural Influences: This past year I read a book titled Art & Physics: Parallel Visions in Space, Time & Light and I think about it every day. I'm originally from Alabama and it has and always will influence me. Photographers: Arnold Newman, Harry Callahan, Hiroshi Sugimoto...I could go on for days. Everything/everyone Bauhaus. Modern architecture. Cinema: Terrence Malick, Roger Deakins, Emmanuel Lubezki and the list goes on. Environment: A home office in Brooklyn.
