Duration: I've been working as a freelance illustrator since 2005. Staff: I'm currently a one-man show, no staff yet. Education: I've got a BFA in Graphic Design from MSU-Bozeman, and I worked at adidas for almost five years as a graphic T-shirt designer. Working in the apparel industry taught me most of my practical knowledge, and everything else I've learned from mentors and experience. Cultural Influences: My influences usually come from travel, but living on the edge of the Oregon desert I find myself drawing inspiration from the rural environment and it's colorful inhabitants. Environment: I need to live close to the mountains, the forest and lots of wide open spaces. Being able to work and play in close proximity is key to my productivity, so my environment is very important. My best ideas come when I'm out of my studio, walking and thinking. Philosophy: You're only as good as your last project, so never stop learning and challenging yourself.
