Duration: Unofficially, two years; officially, four years. Staff: Patrick Castro (communication design), Libby Castro (interior architecture), Francisco Castro (writer). Education: Patrick and Francisco, BFAs from Loyola University; Libby, BFA and MFA from Savannah College of Art and Design. Cultural Influences: Business-wise: All husband and wife teams. All businesses that balance healthy home life and hard work. Design-wise: Studios, designers and/or projects that elegantly solve a client’s problem while making the world a little more beautiful or thoughtful. Environment: After surviving years of one-hour commutes on the West Coast, we enjoy the one-minute commute to our home office in Milwaukee. Though it’s not a design mecca, it’s a nice balance of a sane lifestyle with challenging projects from our clients here, on both coasts and in Europe. Philosophy: Every business or organization has a story. Good design tells a good story. And we love telling a good story.
