Duration: MaricorMaricar was established in 2010.

Staff: We're a twin-sized studio, fraternal twin sisters named Maricor and Maricar.

Education: Graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Design with Honours from the University of Technology Sydney.

Cultural influences: Our practice focuses on hand embroidered and papercut lettering and illustrations. We're influenced by traditional crafts, textiles and narrative through layering, repetition and pattern.

Environment: We work from a huge desk that takes up a large chunk of my living room.

Philosophy: Fail better. Keep on moving, make mistakes often and don't be afraid to start all over again.
