Duration: I received my first professional assignment as illustrator in 2004 and never stopped. Staff: Me and my boyfriend, Ray, an art director. Education: Fine Arts at Universidad Politécnica, in Valencia, my natal city. Cultural Influences: Paint, specifically the first vanguard, but also older movements where the construction is archaic and naive like Egyptian or Roman art; old magazines; and too many contemporary illustrators. Environment: Madrid, Spain, in a very light room. Philosophy: Work hard, be original and as passionate as a child; always try to think of the best way to illustrate a concept; editorial illustration isn't just decorative it always has a finality.
