“In the air: a delicate scent of cotton candy.
In the mind: colorful gingerbread hearts and bright lights, as far as the eye can see.
In the heart: a desire for what once was and should remain forever.
A feeling of home and stability, no matter how fast the carousel is…”
Nick Frank (photographer & art director)
When it comes to photography, I'm an autodidact.
I like the Bauhaus era that combined crafts and fine arts. It is what made architecture interesting for me. Lots of other parts of our modern societies were influenced by the Bauhaus era.
Working at home in my studio.
As an art director working in advertising, I learned that composing images is all about reducing until you can see the essence of what I want to show. So basically, I am removing distractions until you can focus on some form of pureness. This is what I am doing with most of my shots.
