Duration: Established in 2008.

Staff: Husband and wife team Neil Rodman and Karolina Loboda plus our dog Izzabella who is a Hungarian Vizsla. We also love to collaborate with writers, photographers and illustrators when needed.

Education: We both graduated from Sheridan College School of Animation, Art & Design in Oakville Canada.

Cultural Influences: Dadaism and Modernism; Plato and Franz Kafka; Antoni Gaudi and Frank Lloyd Wright; Wassily Kandinsky and Christo; Man Ray and Steven Meisel; Krzysztof Kieslowski and reality TV; Christian Lacroix and Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair; the Swiss grid and Dazed & Confused magazine; calligraphy and Helvetica Neue; Dubrovnik and New York; French decadence and sustainable living; architecture and installation art; Old world Communism and modern day Capitalism; soft and hard music; wearable and unwearable fashion; light and shadows; black and white; the past and present (everything).

Environment: Our atelier is located in a loft on the fourth floor of a refurbished Garment Factory, in the photography and film district of Toronto’s east side. We are surrounded by art, books and inspired by the rustic neighborhood and local talented artisans.

Philosophy: Maintain a balanced life, and design with a conscience—keeping sustainability in mind.
