Bio
Edward J. Heinz Jr., is the founder of headdent inc., a newly created interactive development company in Austin, Texas. Also a founding partner of VM Foundry, Heinz graduated from Texas Tech with a BS in international trade and afterward spent a year in Paris where he worked as an intern for Microsoft Europe, spending much of his time writing custom database programs for the operations and finance departments. After returning to the U.S. he started working for Pennebaker Design, in Houston, Texas, where he took an interest in interactive, taught himself programming and started to experiment with using databases to display dynamic content on Web sites. In 2000, Heinz was recruited from Pennebaker Design by fd2s, a marketing and wayfinding firm in Austin to start an interactive department.
