Wilson makes gear for all kinds of popular sports: tennis, golf, baseball, basketball, football—even badminton. This year Wilson is celebrating a century of equipping athletes, whether they are pros on the court, little leaguers on the field or weekend fanatics in the park. Portland-based agency Pollinate created the Wilson 100 site as a gallery tour of 100 years of sport and an homage to the fierce commitment of athletes who suffer bruises, blisters and bitter defeats, yet return to play again and again. It took a team of six at Pollinate about ten weeks to concept, design, produce and launch the Wilson 100 experience. They created a unique timeline of 100 years of influential sports moments and events, which features a vertical scroll and horizontal navigation for easy perusal of images and fun historical tidbits. The site is touch optimized, and Pollinate used Swiper for the navigation and Image Resizer for compressing nearly 200 images. “Fans can now be a part of the journey, decade by decade,” says Levi Patterson, co-founder of Pollinate, “to experience the true love Wilson has for sports.”
