The month-long exhibition "Anecdotes from the Peak" was curated and designed as a museum-grade display to educate the public about hidden stories from one of Hong Kong's most significant locations, Victoria Peak. Developed by agency Marc & Chantal for a residential building by Wheelock Properties on the Peak, the agency researched Hong Kong's unique heritage and natural wonders. The exhibition paired botanical research with stories of historical significance to highlight the interconnection between early residents and the natural environment. The botanical displays served as a beautiful introduction and branding for the exhibition, and the content journey was built around the theme of a discovery walk through the Peak. Marc & Chantal employed a multi-sensory approach, with animated projections and bird songs from the Peak greeting visitors stepping in from the bustle of the city. The graphics were created from antique botanical prints collaged with lush scenery. They were also used as the visual language for all print and digital communication about the exhibition.
